A few years ago, 2 benches were installed on a grassed area and the end of Back Parson Street. Over their lifetime they have been well used and are now in need of repair or replacement.
Cllr Abdul Shohid is using his Ward Development Fund to replace both benches, as well as installing a much-needed bin near them.
Residents and local business owners work hard to keep the area tidy, but without a bin it’s an almost impossible job.
