EVENTS & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER – Maternity Cover
37 HOURS
SPC 10 – 15 (£23,620 – £25,878) FIXED TERM CONTRACT, Maternity Leave Cover
37 hours per week to include occasional evening and weekend working.
Keighley Town Council are seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive Events & Communications Officer, who will manage and deliver the Council’s annual Events Programme and manage the marketing, publicity and promotion of the Town Council.
The post will provide maternity leave cover until 28th February 2024.The successful candidate will have previous experience in event management and communications work and will be responsible for the effective delivery of the Council’s Event Programme for 2023/24.
Your role will include running the Council’s social media accounts and website, marketing and advertising, designing publications, writing press releases and securing sponsorships. You will develop productive working links between the Council, communities, local businesses, groups and organisations working for the benefit of the Keighley community.
