Charity Head Shave

Town Mayor, Cllr Julie Adams is taking on the ultimate challenge and taking part in a Head Shave to raise money for two local hospices.

On Saturday 14 May at 11am, Cllr Adams will be braving the shave in Sainsburys to raise money for the Mayor’s Charitable Trust, which this year is supporting Sue Ryder Manorlands and Martin House Hospice. Students from Keighley College will be cutting and shaving the Town Mayor’s hair.

Cllr Adams said ‘I am taking on the head shave to raise funds for two charities close to my heart. They need our help now more than ever as we emerge from the pandemic. I am the first Mayor to take part in a head shave and I am very proud to be fundraising for the charities. I urge everyone to come down to Sainsburys to watch the head shave and to donate!’
