This is a new Project commissioned by Keighley Town Council’s Community Development Committee. We want to identify areas around Keighley that YOU think would be good to place a bench/seat for people to sit and enjoy the view.
There are so many beautiful landscapes and vantage points around the town, and it’d be great to make the most of them for walkers, visitors and residents alike. It’s important to us that residents are given a voice in these decisions. We are also working alongside The Lion’s Den (Sheds) Project, who will be bringing a new lease of life to a number of benches from Town Hall Square, which we will then have available to us, with the funds from the Committee.
If you have any suggestions please email damien.summers@keighley.gov.uk along with a couple of photos of the area if possible. Options will be submitted to the Committee for decision and chosen locations will receive installation in early 2021
