The official Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration weekend will be on the 10th and 11th of June 2016. Residents of Keighley parish who would like to hold a public event to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's official 90th birthday in June, are invited to apply for funds.
Keighley Town Council's Events and Leisure Committee has allocated £1,500 to be distributed locally.
Individuals, schools, and voluntary groups intending to hold inclusive, public, celebratory events can now put their plans forward to the council to be considered for a share of the funding which could be anything from a Queen's birthday lunch to a larger event which is public and inclusive.
The closing date for applications is Friday 20th May 2016.
