The Town Mayor, Councillor Javaid Akhtar and the Mayoress, Faiza Javaid will attend a Service at Keighley Shared Church on Sunday 8th November, 2015, at 10 a.m. to be followed by the two-minutes’ silence and the laying of wreaths at the Town Hall Square War Memorial at 11 a.m.

Representative of Public Bodies and Voluntary Organisations who wish to accompany the Town Mayor and Mayoress to the Church are requested to assemble in Russell Street not later than 9.10 a.m. and to walk in procession in the order directed by the Parade Marshal.

The order of service booklets will be available from Reverend Jonathon Pritchard of Keighley Shared Church or the Town Council office from 02 November 2015. 

The Council would like to extend their invitation to the Drill Hall lunch to the organisations and veterans young and old for lunch and refreshments. Lunch to the drill hall will be on a ticket basis only. These can be obtained from the Civic Centre.
